Definitely something that you mother used quite often as she thought it represents a screen, this emoji makes it to top ten misused emojis as well. People often mistaken a large black square for a screen, of a TV, or something else and act accordingly, so the final result is that these people text this emoji completely convinced it represents a screen, so there’s no difference, even if you tell them what it really means, they’ll probably keep on using it in the same way, and while the rest of us don’t really use this emoji, it is still cool.
